About HSEF
HSEF stands for Health, Safety, Environment and Fire. We build digital tools that help industry run these disciplines well.
What we do
Most safety work in industry still runs on paper forms, spreadsheets and email: permit books, bow tie diagrams in drawing tools, consequence calculations in one-off files, incident reports passed around for signatures. HSEF replaces those with web applications that follow the recognised standards and keep a full record of who did what, and when.
Each application covers one process from start to finish and works in an ordinary web browser, on the plant or in the office.
The four disciplines
- Health
- Protecting people from harm at work, from exposure to chemicals to the conditions of a confined space.
- Safety
- Controlling hazards before they become incidents: permits to work, barriers and process safety.
- Environment
- Understanding what a release could do beyond the fence line, and preventing it.
- Fire
- Knowing how far fire and explosion effects reach, and planning for them.
Who it is for
Process plants, refineries, offshore installations and the HSE teams, engineers, supervisors and contractors who work in them.
