What it does
PAWS replaces paper permit books with a controlled digital workflow: request, approve, accept, gas-test, activate and close. Every stage is signed and time-stamped, the requester can never approve or activate their own permit, and hot work stays blocked until the gas test reads 0 % LEL.
What you can do
- All seven permit types: cold, hot, confined space, excavation, electrical isolation, work at height and radiography
- Job hazard analysis scored on your own risk matrix; only approved JHAs can be linked to a permit
- Approval chain set per plant and permit type, with an optional second approval
