These terms apply to www.hsef.in and the shared HSEF services. Each HSEF application (for example PAWS or BowTie Manager) may also have its own terms and plans; where they differ, the application's terms apply to that application.
Who we are
HSEF is operated by Syetu, a sole proprietorship, Mumbai, India. "We" and "us" mean the operator.
Using the site and applications
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of any HSEF service, or access data that is not yours.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
- Organisations are responsible for the accuracy of the data their users enter and for having the right to enter it.
Professional judgement
HSEF applications support health, safety, environment and fire work; they do not replace it. Results, ratings, distances and recommendations depend on the information entered and on simplifying assumptions. They must be reviewed by competent persons and used together with your site procedures, applicable standards and the law. AURA in particular gives screening-level estimates and is not a substitute for detailed, validated consequence modelling.
Availability
We work to keep every service available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
Content and ownership
The software, design and text of HSEF belong to the operator. Data you or your organisation enter remains yours; you give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.
Payments
Paid plans are described in each application. Billing, cancellation and refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of an application's output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned in the twelve months before the claim.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. You can stop using the services at any time.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction.
